The front of vehicle is destroyed . Front tires are flat . Wets Taft has become the storage lot for anyone looking to forgo his /her responsibilities Meantime we , long term residents have to scramble for parking on adjacent streets .

There’s no power on campus or in Bridgeport.

The car has a flat tire and hasn’t moved in months.

We will be calling the health department and zoning on Monday, but the housing that was originally built as dorms and now houses Sacred Heart students on the corner of Gedulding Street and Park Avenue we feel is way over occupied illegally! besides the parking lots that are available on site at that housing, I took this picture this morning. There were 30 cars parked all the way down Gedulding street almost to Madison Avenue because of this housing. Also, they park on Park Avenue (in the only place apparently you are allowed to park in the shoulder on Park Avenue) and there are at least 15 cars there besides what is legally in their parking lots. This is not a huge building. We feel the housing department, the health department and zoning needs to physically investigate how many people are ACTUALLY living there. That means checking addresses,mail, checking with Sacred Heart, checking car license plates to see where they are actually supposed to be. They are so over capacity illegally in this building that they are parking illegal illegally on Crestview Avenue and everywhere else. That’s why there is constant complaints about parking in and around this building/dorm. And as we said, we will be calling the health department, zoning, and housing on Monday morning. with 30 cars alone from almost the top of Park Avenue down Gedulding Street to almost Madison Avenue, on top of what is in the parking lot and on Park Avenue, this building is way over capacity and it needs to be brought into compliance or shut down immediately! The north end is tired of being dumped on by Sacred Heart university! The mayors office needs to step it up and do something about this! And stop them from parking in the shoulder on Park Avenue! It is not allowed ANYWHERE else on Park Avenue and they park right up to the lip of Gedulding Street – they don’t leave 20 feet of clearance as is state and local law! Sacred heart just brought those Monticello Gardens condos, knocked them all down and have a huge parking lot – let the students park there! Yet no matter how we complain, tickets are not put on any of those cars on Park Avenue. Wonder why Ganim ? Money from Sacred Heart?

They are covering half the main Street & constantly fighting with neighbors about not being able to park relatively near the area because it is “their” parking

Fairview Avenue is a residential street. This morning on my way to work. I almost got hit head on because of these two COMMERCIAL trucks parked on Fairview Avenue, near Madison Avenue. I had to go to the middle of the street to be able to pass and there was a car coming from the other way. Commercial vehicles are not allowed on residential streets and this happens all the time on Fairview Avenue. Also, at the other end of Fairview Avenue near Main Street, there is a huge box truck parked there and behind the huge box truck is a black asphalt commercial vehicle with a huge trailer on the end! This has been going on forever in the north end. When is it going to stop!?

The trash at the bus stop on park and Atlantic is overflowing trash on the ground. This is city property and the city should be taking care of it, the trash can is also broken which is why trash is always out on the bus stop
